How do I steal? I try to drag the item over to me but it
says you can not pick that up please help!

You are supposed to go into the skill menu - ALT+K - then click
on the big M word Milleacous or something, now look for stealing and
you should see a blue diamond next to it click on it then on the
item you want to steal.

For some perspective, I did not have access to this guide in 1999, and I got killed by a dog with my 10 strength, 45 dexterity, 10 intelligence archer-bowcrafter. This guide writer would have been a god to me.

Just ask @Mindless about his early days before he knew he could resurrect his characters...

I only wound up on Lake Superior because I ended up with 5 ghosts on Great Lakes. True story.
