True, but getting their initial attention would be the purpose of having them elevated. What person going to Yew to buy something would not immediately click these vendors first? And after finding something of interest to them, what customer would then NOT climb the 10 pixels to get to their destination? I think this house has a tremendous upside (NO PUN INTENDED LOL) in the best vendor zone in the game even though you *oh no* cannot buy from the safety of the pretty blue moongate. I would buy this immediately if I didn't already own a villa 1 screen from yew bank. GO TEAM YEW!
@Cynic, thanks a lot, I wouldn't have seen this otherwise. Congrats to this dude for refreshing this thing for YEARS. Little wary about bidding given that SB was placed by someone whose first post is "My friend Lith told me about this shard"
I'd be more wary if he was bidding someone up instead of placing an SB. What advantage does placing an SB have? We already know this is worth ~3 mil give or take so the public seeing someone actually bid on it wouldn't entice others to do so. I think if no other bids are placed then the guy who placed the SB would win and use this property. Last I checked there's no harm in friends buying items from each other.
Well, that's why I said I was a LITTLE wary, so perhaps we're in agreement that each of us could be more wary than the current level of wary at which we presently find ourselves. If I wanted to sell my house and my friend wanted to buy it and was cool with market rate then it seems like there's no reason to have a trade thread. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks it's weird though, I dunno.
I see this isn't going well and thing's seem to be slow on the server right now. Apparently there may or may not be some kind of trust issue. But we are taking this off the market for now and just using it considering the thread has become a chat thread. (We being the people involved in the timer and placement.)
