Forensics requires no partner and can be used on yourself.
To what benefit? Perhaps it prevents you from getting too mixed up in the thick of an undercover take down.

Re lumberjacking - on the guide it says that you shouldn't spar beyond 65 as you won't gain skill. However, i've trained it over night and I am on 75.5.... so either it can be GM'd by sparring or it stops at a higher skill level.

At one point the cap was 65 I believe to raise lj through sparring and was changed later on. Some parts of the guide are out dated but that's mostly due to the writer of that particular guide not being active or as active as they once were.

Basoosh the archery section of the guide needs updating.

An important fact missing is that if you chose to shoot another character in your house that character needs to have a combat skill.

Ie Fencing, Swords etc. 50 Weapon 50 Tactics is fine.

And I believe they need to have weapon equipped (I would just to be safe, they don't need to use it).

Since the guide didn't specify I shot my crafter and archery gains froze in the 80s. Wasted 16K arrows and 10K+ bandages before figuring it out.
