I've had this dragon for like 10 days, fed him when i first tamed and stabled

last night i fed him a peculiar meat, didn't bond
I read that you need to feed 2
I just fed another today, no bond!

WTF, do they have to be back to back feedings wtf

"Tames which have greater then 1 control slots will require to be fed 1 peculiar meat per control slot required.""

Does this mean i need to feed it 3 peculiar meats because the dragon takes up 3 control slots?

ugggg, ok I will try a 3rd meat

    yes, 3 pec meat.

make sure you dont give it 3 at once as well (for next time)

you have to feed them 1 piece at a time

I wish that I saw this post earlier! I just did the same...feed 2 pec meat!! So you fed one more, and everything was ok? Or did you have to start over and feed 3 more?

    Hi all,

I'm trying to fed a nightmare (which was transfered to me). But it doesn't accept it!

Also when I try to stable it, instead of usual 30 gold msg, the tamer tell me I need to claim before one week. Why the nightmare doesn't want the pecualiar meat?

Do you know where there's a vendor with cheap peculiar meat?

Edit: I forgot, nightmnare was prebonded. This can be the cause?

    Kind regards.

If it was pre-bonded, just feed it regular meat and wait 24 hours and feed it regular meat again. No clue on the stable message. I've never looked the 3+ years I've played here and I've never lost a pet that was stabled. I think you'll be fine. :D

It's not false if the pet was never bonded before. If the pet was pre bonded (previous owner bonded it with peculiar meat) then you don't need to use peculiar meat again after it's transferred. As stated above, just feed regular meat.

He said this one was pre bonded.

Yes, it was prebonded. In fact the Nightmare doesn't want more peculiar meat, however i can feed it with normal meat. But I'm getting the msg "You don't have enought taming for bond this pet"... but I can mount it!

I have 95,5 Show taming /94.9 Real taming

What lvl of taming I must have?

    Thanks.

I think you need the min skill(real) to tame to be able to bond. 95.1

Yeah, true statement. Have read this in other threads. You need the right skill before you can bond.

That guide doesn't seem to be totally up-to-date, as it is not needed to feed regular raw meat after pec meat, plus the timer is 24 hours now, not 7 days. So here is how to do it (I've done both of these very recently):

For a nightmare/dragon/white wyrm that has never been bonded -
    1. Feed it regular raw meat, stable it for at least 24 hours.
    2. Feed one pec meat at a time (2 for nightmare, 3 for dragon/white wyrm)
    3. It should now be bonded.

For a nightmare/dragon/white wyrm that has been bonded before but transferred to you:
    1. Feed it regular meat, stable it for at least 24 hours
    2. Feed it regular meat
    3. It should now be bonded.

Note: It is really cool that pets maintain "pre-bonded" status as you can swap them around among your different tamers as much as you want, but be careful not to forget to re-bond and then go charging out into the wild with a pet that you are used to having bonded, but is not anymore!
