Can someone tell me a price check on per piece of platinum currently, I've been gone for a bit and am way out of the loop.
I’d say 5-6. People have been trying to sell at 6, and it usually tends to happen when they drop below 6.

There is a ton of plat, and plat items all over vendors for 6 that just does not sell. I see many plat items at below 6 as of right now and still not selling. Just go check some vendors and you'll see. Seems like right now there are more plat sellers than buyers.
Plat at 6k and plat rewards at a lesser value 90% of the time now days. They will sell at full value but it takes time to get a buyer
The price used to be at a stable 5-6k btw, until it got raised up to 10k for basically no reason. "old fashioned" in this regard would actually refer to the price we have right now, and that was accurate like 5 years ago
