Hello UOR! This has been a project long in the making. Throughout the history of UOR, there have been spawning rare collections on display in different locations. The last of these was dismantled some time ago. Therefore, my wife and I have decided to bring a location back to UOR that people can go and check out what can be collected in the wild. This, however, takes the collection even farther than previous displays have gone. This collection includes the spawning rares found in the special events such as Leprechaun Caves, The City of the Dead, all 4 AMIBS, the Zookeeper Quest, Keza's Hidden Rooms, as well as the Level 7 Maps. The house is public, so please come by and check it out. The house is just NE of the Britain moongate. Here is a picture of the location on your map: Special thank you to Ziggy Stardust of TnT for allowing us to acquire a great property for this project. We are very grateful. Thank you Chris, and all the hard working volunteers and staff for creating such an amazing place to come and play UO, and thank you to all the Knights and Brigands that help to create this UOR community. Long Live UOR!!!
There's some awesome items in there! Pouches spilling coins and gems? Open book and a cabinet above it on the wall (upper floor)? Mushroom? Those looks like they're unobtainable by the common folkes? Atleast, not as a spawning (semi) rare. Great collection!
Very well done! This also has a great secondary function for any newer players looking to join the rare hinting business. They can visit this wonderful museum and add ALL the items to their scavenger agent (recommended). Also @NCCML it looks like I have an orange hue 42 animating essence that could join your collection. Contact me in discord and we can arrange something
Good point Samo. I may just have to plant some more trees and replace those photos. Tabby, every item in that house is a spawning rare. The spilled items came from the Leprechaun Caves, and are obtainable every year during that event. All of those, as well the the small shelf, were picked right up off the ground. Keza, thank you for the amazing offer. PM has been sent. And yes, one of the benefits of homes like this is the ability to go in and add things to scav. Full disclaimer though, for the purpose of decoration, a couple items have been turned, and are therefore not the same item ID as they would be when they spawn. Those won't scav properly. It's only a handful, however. Yeah Vincent, I have seen you out and about as well. Thanks Hollywood. That lava tile is really hard to incorporate in a home. Grave dirt as well. I am happy with how they both ended up. Glad everybody is enjoying it. I will persist in acquiring the final bits and pieces needed to make it 100 percent complete.
I am super excited to be able to share that with help from @Keza the animating essence collection is now complete. Thank you very much for the help in acquiring those final 2 pieces. @Tabby I will post a WTB thread in the Trade Forum for the items that are missing. That way, this thread stays focused on the museum itself. Images have been updated to show the new additions, and @Samorite will be pleased to see that with a little water from the Shrine of Compassion, the trees and surrounding shrubs and flowers grew back in with alarming speed. The woods are beautiful once again.
I have updated the pictures in the original post to reflect the current state of the museum. I am excited to be able to say that as of the time of this post, the museum is complete. All Halloween spawning rares have been acquired, along with the final bits and pieces that were needed in the alchemy sets and ichor tiles. It took a lot of trading and willingness from the UOR community to help make this happen. I'd like to thank the folks listed below for being a part of this, and for helping to acquire the last items needed to make this project complete. HUGE Thank You to: @TheDarkOne @Xavant_BR @RMarc69 @Rockers @Delstrudo @BouncyPingPong @Salick @Keza @Omega @Onions @Deacon Frost @WarrenBuffet @Animal Control If I missed anybody, gimme a holler and I'll add, but I think that's it. Again, thanks guys for being so willing to help out and get this thing complete.
