No sure I understand? If he is buying it at 6K and I am buying them at under 5K why would I not sell him mine and buy back later for less? Confused
If I find a quarter on the floor and someone offers me 50 cents for it that's good business not a head shake. The quarter is always worth 25 cents but if he is paying 50 cents I sell it. Same with plat. It's worth 4K I'll buy for 4K if he buys for 6K I'll sell him my share.
See, there you go again proclaiming worth when what you're speaking of is value. You are valuing something at 4k when others are not, Plat has no worth beyond what it buys in the plat store. It's value can and will change over time but to say it's specifically, across the server, valued at XX gold requires a majority concurrence.
Exactly, and as I said in the first post its my belief what I think it's worth based on analyse of the market. It is my assessment that there is more plat then there is demand. And I base it off of the posts offering plat fire sales at 4.9K and yesterday 4.7K If someone wants to sell to me at under 4.7 but over 4K I am willing to entertain offers. If people don't agree then don't sell it. But as you pointed out on discord, it's economics 101. Until new rewards are added there will continue to be a decline.
Sounds too complicated. Why not just go farm plat like the rest of us? I didn't get my stack of plat through currency manipulation, I farmed it myself (with the help of friends and techniques that were passed down to me from legendary players like @NerK ).
@Garavar Man I kinda was with you in the beginning of this thread. Now i kinda feel like you had the moral high ground and then you pissed it away. I also am a new player not on the plat train. While not necessarily agreeing with the Plat trains position, I feel at this point you should do what I do, go to public champs, and kill beholders.

I said I believe plat be worth less than 5K and gave a reasonable explanation as to why. I then offered to buy for 4K as well as entertain offers above 4K but less than 5K. This thread then turned into people challenging that analysis which is fine they are entitled to their opinion like I am. I didn't get upset about derailing thread. Because in the end I am achieving my objective of getting plat through private PMs. Then there were replies claiming to buy plat at 6K. So if someone is indeed willing to buy for 6K as they claimed the do why not sell it? It's simple business. PS notice that no one bought my stash for 6K, cause again as stated based on my observations plat isn't selling for 6K it's barely selling for 5K
