Ok, I feel like I just won at the game of UO.

    Only took 3 years!

Finished my first Val Hammer. Thank you to @Amulek for covering the 2mill I was unwilling to pay. Nice present on his part. Thank you @Jester1 for selling the small arms 20x val bod. Also, big thanks to @CaptainMorgan for answering all of my stupid early bodding day questions. Thanks man!

Final thanks to @Chris for running a clean shard. I would have never made the effort if I thought he was not a good(honest) shard owner!

I put the hammer on my vendor for sale. It is priced at 18m. I think this is fair. Either someone will buy it to sell charges at a profit, which they can or a guild will purchase and sell charges at a discount rate. Regardless, I think its a fair price at 18m.

Almost forgot. Someone might buy just to have as a trophy!

    Why the vendor? Anonymity!

I figure, leave on vendor for up to 1 week. If someone wants to buy without being known, then they can. At 1 week if it does not sell, I will auction it off.

Vendor is located at south side of Yew bank. You can open bank from my vendor, just make sure to cast reveal before purchase.

yeah dude don't put on a vendor bro you will lose so much coin with it sitting there. You would be better off putting in a forum for sale post. Get as much of that money back as you can.

my daily charge rate on that vendor is at 58k per day. that is 40k over my normal day rate (that is an expensive vendor) oh lord, haha

so 1 week is about almost 300k in vendor charges for the hammer

I am such an old school vendor guy. Love putting high ticket items on vendors for people that like to shop at them.

Your char looks exhausted but deep in thought like, "well that's done, now what do I do?"

It's weird when you accomplish a long sought after goal. What is next?

crazy thing is, I have tried to accomplish a val hammer for almost 20 years. on OSI, I did not buy bods, but I ran 6 accounts and did not achieve it. On Renaissance, I did learn from @CaptainMorgan that the bod game is about building relationships and trading and knowing who will come up with bods and being on the lookout. That changed the game for me as far as actually achieving it. Now, Captain probably filled more than 1 val hammer without needing anyone else. That is hardcore. I did wheel and deal to make it happen. Regardless, such a fun achievement.

As for what is next? If SOF gets active again on the shard, I would like to start PvPing again. Have not Pvp'd for real since OSI days.

Valorite hammers make some of the strongest weps on the shard. They can sell anywhere from 600k - 1.2 mil per wep depending on the market value at the time.

    To expand a little on...

The hammer can produce 25 valorite weapons.

These are Indestructible* +25 Tactics and Vanquishing (+9 damage). If the smith produces an exceptional weapon this adds a further +4 damage.

So you get the best non-slayer weapons in the game - Indestructible, +25 Tactics, Exceptional (+4 dmg), Vanquishing (+9 dmg). And they're blue, which is nice.

*Note indestructible is a durability bonus and not actually indestructible.
