Other than fire breath, WW's are better. HOWEVER, fire breath with veterinary will always trump whatever a WW can bring.
I mean, they might cast a GHeal here and there, but not enough to stay healed. I say firebreath + vet because firebreath damage is calculated depending on the creature's health, so at higher health, the stronger the firebreath.
WWs come with much higher skills when tamed. So when comparing untrained dragons vs untrained WWs, WWs win. If you have some training, especially in magery for dragons, then dragons are usually preferable. But it still depends. If you are fighting a ton of low level critters, like during the first tiers of Champs, WWs are still better than dragons as they hit faster. For normal higher level mob farming, dragons are better because of fire breath. Especially when bosses can spawn. For bonding purposes, I usually go for these stats (HP/STR/DEX/INT): Dragons: 520+/520+/XX/YYY, the 520+ HP gives you max firebreath damage, and each point is important when fighting PKs. Str and Dex as high as possible, but dont forget that you can train dex up to 100. Int as high as possible. WWs: 750+/750+/125-130/XXX. Dex and Str are most important, as WWs are mainly for melee fighting.
As mentioned, WWs good for lower level champ spawns....but My experience says WWs train slower, and that PKs are more likely to kill your WWs than drags go drags!
