I'm trying to work this, starting a tailor right now. I just have one question, what exactly is required to get black sandals? And what is required to get the CBD?

You cannot directly get the black hued sandals, rather a chance at them vs a few other hued options as well. So if you were to turn in for example: "normal (non exceptional), horned leather, 20x small bod, you have a 90% to get one of the hued cloth bundles or a 10% chance to get the sandal drop but you don't get to pick the hue sandals that drop. Same logic applies to the CBD's. When you turn in the large bod, you get a 50/50 chance at a leather dye tub vs a CBD. Warning: Turn in enough of these and end up getting a string of leather dye tubs will be a test of your willpower to continue doing bods.

But when I get that BOD I have a chance to get the sandals? I'm sorry if I seem dense this is just a little complicated.
No worries! Its a little confusing at first. So if you were to turn in that small bod that's mentioned your reward chances are 90% bod hue cloth or 10% of sandals. If you get the cloth as a reward, then the hue is random. If you get the sandals as a reward, then the hue is random. Like putting a quarter (small bod) in a prize machine (tailor) with gumballs (cloth) and jawbreakers (sandals).. you get one or the other. And then the color you receive from one or the other is random. Example is way out of left field, I know... but best I could come up with.

Don't worry I won't bombard you. I will do my best to struggle through it but you have already answered my main issue which is I want Black Sandals. So I think I understand what to do to get them so thank you!
