I recently acquired a collection of Champion skulls from someone whom I will (at least for now) leave unnamed. I was only told "I trust you will put these to good use." I don't know exactly who was involved in winning all of these skulls, but I have some ideas. There is strong evidence that one of the individuals involved was one of, if not the most skilled, remarkable and well-respected players ever to play on this shard. Of course you already know that I am speaking of @NerK . Have you ever seen a better outfit than this? Anyway, I asked a few guildmates of mine to assist me in filling in some of the missing skulls to complete sets. Assist may not be the correct word, they did almost all of the work. This is the first completed set that we will run publicly, and we expect to have more in the future as my/our playtime allows. The harrower will be spawned this coming Saturday, June 24th at approximately 3 PM CST, 4 PM EST, 21:00 London time. And we expect to have a special twist to this one, so even if you don't need or care about platinum, or if you get a negative score and no plat because you just kept sending your dragons into the tentacles because you didn't read the material I've posted below, you may want to show up to this one just for the experience of participating in something that (to my knowledge) has NEVER been done on UOR, perhaps on any shard. For those of you who are experienced and know how to get a high score, we are asking you to try to earn plat on just one box so that more players have an opportunity to earn. Once the harrower is spawned, we plan to announce its location in Discord. We also anticipate (if circumstances allow) for event gates to be up which you can use to get there. If event gates are not possible, we will gate in from Skara bank, near the stables. I'm tired and need to go to bed, so the rest of this post will mostly be links to guides for how to fight the harrower successfully. Please be aware that there have been some slight changes to mechanics over the years, so its possible the guides may have some conflicting information. What you need to know about that is: - To earn platinum, your final damage score must be at least 500. Any damage the harrower or its tentacles does to you OR one of your pets reduces your score. - To earn platinum, you must be alive and within 15 tiles of the harrower the moment it dies. Thanks for everyone who made it! I've always wondered why the harrower doesn't spawn in Khaldun considering its tentacles are found there. So thanks for UOR staff for assisting with placement to allow us to have our first (that I am aware of) harrower in Khaldun dungeon! Stay tuned for more public champs and harrowers.
