Are exceptional / magical dmg bonuses applied in the combat roll or given as guaranteed damage?

    Halberd min 5 max 49

    exceptional min 9 max 53?

or would a max hit from halberd return 51 and apply +4?

    not rounding down...

    1.5 * 49 = 73.5
    .2 * 73.5 = 14.7
    .2 * 73.5 = 14.7
    73.5 + 14.7 + 14.7 = 102.9
    102.9 / 2 = 51.45

    -------------------------------------------
    rounding all the rolls down...

    1.5 * 49 = 73
    .2 * 73 = 14.6 = 14
    .2 * 73 = 14.6 = 14
    73 + 14 +14 = 101
    101 / 2 = 50.5 = 50

    ------------------------------------------
    basically 50 vs 51
either way does not equal 49
however utilizing base weapon damage is a good pointer to how a weapon will actually hit

Bogugh had a post a few months ago which seemed to identify the order of operations used in the damage calculations. You may be able to model what you're asking from what he provided. I'm not 100% sure it was officially stamped as the perfectly correct code used here though.

Going to Test Center and using the Combat Log Book for a few thousand hits is probably the best way to go if you're looking for an answer to the decimal point though.
