Lumberjacking and war axe

Wanted to see if anyone has info on the lumberjacking skill and if it works with the war axe which is a macing weapon even thou it is in the axe list. Thanks

War axe works with macing only I believe.

Yes, war axe is in fact a macing weapon. However it is bugged as it seems to not damage armor.

I think the war axe should be part of the extra damage with lumberjacking considering it is I the axe catagory. And since the war axe is bugged are they doing anything about it ?

Does war axe drain stamina? Haven't checked in a long while.

No stamina drain with war axe, just tested it the other day, incase it had changed.

Only 2 handed weapons used to have special attacks back in Renaissance era.
