Ok so after the first two weeks of recruitment and training we are off to a great start. I am seeing a lot of progress quickly in all those that have shown up, I hope you feel the same as well. We had a great time last night at Capture The Flag and the training on synching went really well and we dropped several targets instantly which was to my suprise for a group that had never synched before! But it has become obvious that the majority of players on the server are either Central or Pacific times and the times that I currently am holding the training events are more convenient for players on Eastern Time Zones so I want to discuss changing the times to not be too late for those on the East Coast and not too early for those on the West Coast and that should accomodate everyone in the middle. Right now traning times are starting at 8:30pm EST (5:30 PST) and lasting until 10:00pm EST (7:00pm PST) or later. The only thing good about starting at 8:30pm is that it leaves time for the training to go longer if everyones having a good time. So here's what I propose, we move the times from 8:30pm-10:00pm EST to 9:30pm - 11:00pm EST. My goal is to be an inclusive to all players as possible without major inconvenience. I understand that 6:30pm PST might still be a tad early for some people but they could join us when they have the chance, even if late, and still get in some good time training. This will also leave a small amount of time to go longer as I usually don't call it a night until 11:30-midnight EST. I will however make myself available before 9:30pm EST if anyone wants to train 1 on 1 or in a small group. The more training the better, but I do want to gie a schedule people can plan for. If you want to see training on a weekend day, please post the times as well. Right now we are scheduled for training on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I am open to just about any schedule that benefits the majority of the guild. Please respond so we can make adjustments. For our European friends I'm afraid during the week training is not available unless you are available during those times above, weekends however we can do our best to be inclusive. Thanks.
In general, I can make any of those times. I'm east coast too but I often stay up till 11 or so. Tuesday has been a good day for me and I'll definitely make it for Tuesday the next couple weeks. Thursday hasn't been such a good day, but the reason why it hasn't been won't really be an issue anymore in 3 weeks. And in two weeks I'm moving to a whole new city and stuff so I really don't know what kind of schedule I'll pick up. Soooo, uh, yeah I guess I don't actually have anything of substance to contribute.
