Tallest Building in Ocllo at 4 stories ! Has the same number of lockdowns as a Large Keep – 750 Plat was spent upgrading Colored Furniture and Stone Chairs The Perch – it can go higher if you like… As I exit the Vendoring Game, I am torn between what becomes of my vendor houses vs the amount of gold I can get for them. So this “Auction” will be a bit different. First and foremost, the place is not cheap. The merchant in me must get some coin for the place. The winner will have the option to purchase the runelibrary and decorations as it stands today for an additional 2m. There is a golem statue, lvl 7 treasure chest, arrows, champ skulls, cupids bow, leppy mug and a BUNCH of dyed furniture etc…, plus one of the most complete set of runebooks outside of Dalavar’s place in Cove. What makes this different is that I care what happens to the place. It resides on Ocllo and almost every new player comes through there. This place should make an impression on them and reflect well on the server. So here is what I would like to do: You make your ONE and ONLY bid for the place, it starts at 10m, you can add more if you like, the higher the gold offer, the less important the other factor. You can toss in rares to sweeten the deal. Blessed Runebooks & Ethys @ plat value are the only official tradebait in that 10m, unless we discuss ahead of time. Then you write in your bid offer your official plans for the place. Make it a story, a bulleted list, write a poem, create pictures, I don’t care. You don’t have to be a poet or story writer to score well. Write it yourself, or pay someone to write it for you. Don’t try to anticipate what I might want to hear. Good or Evil, I don’t care. Your own honor will hold you to your plans if you are successful and the entire server will be watching. BE AWARE! The Highest Gold Offer may not be the ultimate “winner”, That is where your planned use statement/story can make the difference. All offers/bids must be placed by midnight est. December 31, 2016 Final Note: Every man has his price. You can cut through all this red tape and buy the place as it sits, deco, library and all for a cool 20m Gold
I will count this as "Yes Mr. Peace, I am interested in your fine property and I look forward to the ensuing fun"
And so it begins... FYI, means bidding begins BELOW this post, anything above doesn't count due the full description not available till this post
The Occlo fire department has issued a lean on this property for the fire hazard (and eye sore) oak tables. The new owner must remove them before any business may be conducted at this location.
Awesome location, awesome that owner cares about what happens to it also, but I have to agree that those multi level oak table platforms are a HUGE eyesore. everyone is getting out of vendor business.
Based on the opinions of a panel of experts I called in, I offer my 1st place prize for the 4th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt: a... BEEHIVE WITH BEES! This offer is for the building AS IS, including the deco, which you value at 12ish total. As for my plans for this building, I will keep the extra floors, but plan to dye them to "pop" more (in line with the server vision). The building will function as a welcome center and haven for new player needs: cheap vendors, crafting stations, an even more extensive rune library, trap boxes for raising detect hidden, and eventually a plat statue titled "Welcome to UOR" when I can afford it. I vow to not block the front door of @BlackEye and to not make this building a cringe-worthy eyesore, as it is one of the first impressions new players have of us. I have further plans, but would like to keep them below the surface. I am happy to disclose them via PM if required.
Luckily, this is a matter of personal interpretation. I would, if given the chance to, take player opinions on the matter to heart.
take out at least 1 row on the north East side so it doesn't stick out so oddly. more uniform actually, make that 2 rows on the north east side, and one on the back (north west side)
