Well the application I intend on using the rug for is the decoration of a small home. This house has a south facing door. This is very important in my decision in regards to rug placement, as it is through the main entry that the house absorbs Chi, or universal energy, for its own nourishment. The better quality Chi your house absorbs, the better quality energy is there to support you, and to keep thieves and intruders out. You have to keep in mind that the Southern facing door means my house is filled with Fire energy. This is why I chose a Polar Bear rug, as it has a natural water energy that balances the flow of Chi throughout my small space.
I've never really cared too much about about home deco... today i've been setting up my rune library which i'm going to make public. I want that part of the keep to look respectful and maybe something people may remember Still be very basic compared to many others, but it's a beginning. Eventually the entire keep will be public with vendors, but that's some time off yet.
