Is this not considered an exploit? or just one of those "tricks" UO is famous for?

It's an exploit of a little known bug in the code. Obviously not an intended or appropriate mechanic.

Turn an "exploit" into a feature. 500plat = Deed to turn one container into a secure container with no weight limit...

apparently the "little" known is fast becoming the WELL known.. Turn it to an advantage...

Why not just lock down the piles of regs on the floor? Yes it's messy, but...

Public house at a public location, run a restock macro and good. No muss no fuss, limited liability.

And how is it not a punishable exploit?...

EDIT: And now I see the original image is removed and the explanation of how to do it is also removed. Shady much?

Jack found a secure chest in a house that had 20k+ stone weight. Asked how this was possible. Someone else (can't remember who) explained how it is done. They've since deleted their post contents for obvious reasons.

The bug has been around forever. It is known by staff, and staff has been explicitly asked if it was alright to use and share.

yeah this type of thing is typical of UO and not really something to freak out over. I'd never seen it before though. I removed my post so as not to make it common.
