Those fireworks are dangerous! Perhaps he died from too much excitement.

Hype overdose

I believe a class action suit is called for and a full inquiry made into the wrongful death of said individual caused by an overdose of hype instigated by the festivities and careless discharge of fireworks in direct association with the scavenger hunt event, thus displaying a flagrant disregard for the public's safety.

I believe compensation to the individual's family is in order, I just so happen to be a representative of the family and would gladly accept any donations for shard event safety awareness in the family's name.
