You might find this link useful - there are a number of customizations on this server that enhance the original OSI experience: http://uorforum.com/threads/one-guide-to-rule-them-all-one-guide-to-find-them.682/ If you are looking for more boats (I myself was looking for one last night) I found a vendor stocked well with small and large boats just next to the Occlo bank in a small marble home.
