blade spirits

    i thought the blade spirit spell was ok for the caster in reniassance and was like the worst spell to cast in pre-reniassance. because for a beginner mage that spell would be gold. i could be wrong but it would be nice.

    was mainly a thought why isn't blade spirits a non threating machine towards the caster of it

    Sounds like he's asking why blade spirits will attack the caster.

    It's a spell based on the Risk vs. Reward mechanic of gameplay that UO provides. It's a potent spell that can be used to great advantage, but through lack of awareness or bad luck, it can easily be turned against the mage.
